Delete your Shout account
In the app: open your profile (tap your @username on the feed), scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account. It takes effect immediately.
Without the app: email support@thrivepay.cloud from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my Shout account". We'll confirm and delete it within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your email address, username, display name, "about me" and password.
- Your posts, replies and direct messages, and every photo you uploaded.
- Your location history and push notification token.
- Any active membership or city unlock bought through Shout is cancelled so you aren't charged again.
What we keep
- Records of payments, without your profile details, for as long as accounting and tax law requires.
- Content that was removed for breaking the rules, where the law requires us to preserve it.
